I doubt many Americans will remember much about the Government of Man. For some it will bring back memories of history class in high school but still be a rather vague term.
Throughout history, regardless of the continent, there have been conflicts and wars. Out of these we see time and time again the evolution of some kind of authority structure or government mechanism to set up and maintain social order.
There is plenty of evidence to support man's desire and need, regardless of the culture, for some form of governmental structure. This has always been inherent in the human spirit and is also a manifestation of the God-given mandate given to mankind.
Simply put, man was designed to be a governor and ruler, and as a result it's his nature to seek some form of authority to bring order to his world. In this context government is not only desirable but necessary.
